K_GuideGrid draws center-based guide grids directly inside an effect result.

It is designed for layout, alignment, title placement, safe-area checking and visual spacing, with customizable lines, built-in presets and transparent grid-only output.

PLATFORM

  • Windows only.
  • Adobe After Effects .aex plugin.
  • CPU rendering.

TESTED ENVIRONMENT

  • Adobe After Effects 2025.
  • 8 bpc, 16 bpc and 32 bpc float.

VERSION COMPATIBILITY

  • Tested with After Effects 2025.
  • Other After Effects versions may be compatible but are not verified.

  • Center-based horizontal and vertical guide lines.
  • Independent spacing, line-count, color, width and opacity controls.
  • Built-in grid, composition, margin and safe-area presets.
  • Composite-over-source and transparent grid-only output.

RENDERING BACKENDS

  • CPU renderer.

NOTES

  • The plugin creates visual guide lines as part of the effect result; it does not create native After Effects guides.
  • Guide lines are included in the rendered image unless the effect or guide layer is disabled before export.
  • GPU acceleration is not available.
