K_DeltaScope / README

K_DeltaScope compares the current frame with frames at other times and visualizes temporal pixel changes inside a single effect result.

It is designed for animation checking, frame-difference inspection, motion-area visualization, flicker detection and change-mask generation.

PLATFORM

  • Windows only.
  • Adobe After Effects .aex plugin.
  • CPU rendering.

TESTED ENVIRONMENT

  • Adobe After Effects 2025.
  • 8 bpc, 16 bpc and 32 bpc float.

VERSION COMPATIBILITY

  • Tested with After Effects 2025.
  • Other After Effects versions may be compatible but are not verified.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Onion Skin and Natural Onion Skin views.
  • Difference, Motion Heatmap and Flicker Detection modes.
  • Soft or hard grayscale Delta Mask output.
  • Overlay, Analysis Only and Split View output modes.
  • RGB, luminance and alpha-based difference analysis.

RENDERING BACKENDS

  • CPU renderer.

NOTES

  • K_DeltaScope is an analysis tool; it does not automatically remove flicker or repair the source image.
  • GPU acceleration is not available.
