Flux v1.5.0

v1.5.0 / LATEST
RELEASED2026.08.06
PLATFORMWINDOWS
COMPATIBILITYAE 2022-2026

NEW FEATURES

  • Font Preview is now available from Utility > Library on After Effects 2024 (24.0) or later. It lists font faces available to After Effects and applies a selected face to all selected editable text layers.
  • Search by family, native name, style, and PostScript name, then filter the list by all fonts, favorites, or Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese writing systems.
  • Compare custom text or text imported from the first selected text layer, favorite individual faces, copy font names, and apply a face to all selected editable text layers.
  • Font previews are prepared gradually in the background with the bundled Windows renderer, so search and font application remain available when a preview cannot be rendered.
  • Gradient Library can now apply saved gradients to the K_Gradient effect in addition to shape fills, strokes, and layer styles.
  • K_Gradient integration supports Linear, Radial, Angle, Reflected, and Diamond modes and automatically fits Start Point and End Point to the selected layer bounds. The K_Gradient plug-in must be installed in After Effects.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Added a fixed-position search field that filters the currently selected Utility category while scrolling.
  • Made button, hover, selection, separator, and tool-card styling more consistent across Flux themes.
  • Utility tools and heavier resources are now initialized when first opened, reducing work during panel startup.

FIXES

  • Fixed Batch Rename using stale preview targets after changing between Layers and Project scope or loading a preset. Flux now refreshes the preview before applying the operation and does not report success when no items were renamed.
  • Fixed Comp Restructure > Flatten leaving a temporary Null source item in the After Effects Project panel.
  • Fixed Alignment, Color Palette, Project Organizer, Comp Restructure, and Rename operations leaving incomplete Undo groups when an error occurred.
